Homeward Bound 5K
Join us for the second annual Homeward Bound 5K and support the local non-profit, Home for Now. Your participation helps further the organization's mission to provide assistance for people to keep their pets when life has taken an uncharted and unplanned path.

Supporting Home for Now
Imagine having to make a life changing decision that meant separation from your beloved pets with no one to care for them, keep them safe or loved. This is the choice some people have to make who are victims of domestic violence, experiencing homelessness, being admitted for an extended stay at a heath facility, or undergoing some other upheaval in their lives.
Helping Owners and Pets
This is why the non-profit Home for Now (homefornowmn.org) was formed to provide temporary, long term pet sitters (think fostering a dog, cat or other pet) for people who are trying to better their lives or achieve a safe life, but cannot keep their pets with them at this time. What can you do to help?
Donations and Fundraisers
Vet care, supplies and training are provided to pet sitters. So funding is an ongoing need. Unlike rescues, we also don’t have adoption fees coming in as revenue, so we run entirely on donations, fundraisers and in the future (hopefully) grants.
